In X-Men (2000), Wolverine says of the group’s suits, “You really go external in these things?” to which Cyclops answers, “What might you like? Yellow spandex?” The true to life Wolverine wouldn’t show up in his unique yellow outfit until this film, 24 years after the arrival of the primary X-Men film. Chief Shawn Duty said, “Similar to the remainder of the world, I’ve held up twenty years to see Wolverine in an entire film with Deadpool, and I couldn’t say whether this is our keep going shot at Wolverine on screen, so I planned to ensure we get the old yellow and blue only a single time, and that we take care of business
